Al Farooq by Maolana Shibli Noumani Urdu Pdf

Preface:

Al-Farooq, whose fame had already spread throughout India before he came into existence, first of all his name came to the tongues through the event that he was mentioned in the preface of the first edition of Al-Ma'mun. After that, although the author remained completely silent, there was such an interest in the name that it spread automatically. Even before its initial components were ready, the word Al-Farooq was on the tongue of every child from one end of the country to the other.

Meanwhile, some such reasons occurred that the series of Al-Farooq stopped. And instead of it, other works were started. So in the meantime, several works came out of the author's pen and were published. But the eyes that were waiting for the glory of Farooq the Great (may Allah be pleased with him) could not have been mine in any other light. It is unfortunate that some reasons for the deviation of Al-Farooq had arisen with me that I had seemingly given up on this work, but the voices of demand from the country were constantly rising that I was forced to put down the pen and pick it up. Finally, on August 18, 1897, I made a definite decision and started this work steadily and continuously. The duties of the job and accidental obstacles still stood in the way from time to time. Even several times there was a pause of several months, but since the work did not stop at all, something was happening. Until today, after four years, this destination has been reached and the traveler of the pen has rested for both of them.

Thank God, the ship has arrived

The boat of fear has arrived on the shore

This book is divided into two parts. In the first part, apart from the introduction, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), The events and conquests of the country from the birth to the death of the Prophet Muhammad are the circumstances of the country. The second part contains a description of his political and religious arrangements and scientific achievements and personal morals and habits, and this second part is the spectacle of the author's efforts and hard work.

Although no less effort has been made in the preparation of this book. I have seen and told about the copies myself. But after repeated experiments, I have to admit that I am not a man of the field of this valley and I cannot make any arrangements for it. But if the publisher allows me, I can dare to say that I am not the only culprit of this crime, but some other people are also partners. However, a wrong note has been inserted at the end of the book which can serve as an expiation for the crime.

In this book, the spelling of some words will be seen. For example, in the case of addition, " and "Medina" instead of " and " Madina " and in the case of plural, " and " Majma" instead of " Majma" and " Majma" but this is not my spelling. Rather, it is that of the copyist. And they did not agree to act contrary to it in any way.

It should also be noted that this book is included in the list of Silsal Asifiya. But first, the nature and reality of Silsal Asifiya should be understood

All of India knows the compilation of our respected and esteemed friend Shamsul Ulama Maulana Syed Ali Balgrami. Just as he is a great writer, a great translator, a great linguist, he is also a great scholar and a great Arab and patron of the publication of sciences and arts. This second characteristic prompted him to make a request to Mr. Nawab Muhammad Fazluddin Khan Sikandar Jang Iqbal-ud-Dawla Iqtar-ul-Mulk, Sard Qar-ul-Mraa Bahadur, CIA Madar-ul-Mahamah Daulat Asifiya Khald-Ba-Allah-Taala, that a permanent series of scholarly translations and works be established under the auspices of His Majesty Noor Rustam Durran, Platoon Platoon Zaman Falak Bargah Sipah-al-Mulk Fatah Jang Haz-Ha-Ainis Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Bahadur Nizam-ul-Mulk Asif Jah Sultan Deccan Khald-Allah Malika, which would be titled as the Asifiya Series, and the works of the Asifiya family that were accepted by the followers of Daulat Asifiya should be included in this series.

Mr. Nawab Sahib Mamduh was dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of sciences and arts from the very beginning.

Mr. Muhammad accepted this request with great pleasure, considering that this blessed series has been established for many years, and our Shams al-Ulama's book Tamadan Arab, whose fame has become worldwide, is a precious gem of this series.

The certificate of donation given to Khaksar in 1896 by Mr. Mamdouh also stated that all of Khaksar's future works should be included in this series. Accordingly, this insignificant work is also included in this blessed series.

At the end of the first volume, a map of the Islamic world is included, in which the conquests of each era from the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to the time of the Umayyads are given a special color. By looking at it, one can see at a glance how much of the world was included in the circle of Islam during the time of each Caliph. This map was originally prepared by some worthy professors from Germany. But since it did not fully correspond to the statements in our book, Therefore, we have pointed out these differences from time to time in the margins of the original book.
