Foreword:
The book Fazail-ul-Sahaba, written under the supervision of Imam Ahl-e-Sunnah, Abu Abdullah Ahmad bin Hanbal, is a collection of the virtues and virtues of these holy figures. Those whom Allah Almighty chose for His religion and gave them the medal of May Allah be pleased with them, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bestowed upon them the certificate of the best of the ages, who not only beautified the world but also taught the people of the world how to spend their days and nights. They themselves were undoubtedly the monks of the night and the knights of the day, whose love is an inseparable part of our faith and whose hatred is a sign of hypocrisy.
Since the book was in Arabic, it was imperative that it be translated into Urdu. Our disciple Rasheed Naveed Ahmad Basharullah carried out this work with great effort and sweat. He has presented a highly scholarly and standard translation, choosing easy-to-understand, elegant and polite words.
Although the humble servant has not read it with full understanding, he has mostly looked at it. If he felt that something was wrong, he has corrected it, and the book is a reflection of the translator's tireless work and efforts, which, due to its comprehensiveness, is useful for scholars and students, and also serves as a beacon of light for the general public.
It is prayed that Allah Almighty grants Mr. Naveed Ahmed Bashar Allah a healthy and fit life. So that he may translate such books in the future and become a servant of religion in the true sense, and may He grant his efforts the honor of acceptance in His court and make them a source of salvation for all of us.
